A few plain lines per day, written as it happens, across everything
this factory makes. Setbacks are logged as carefully as wins — a factory that hides
its failures cannot be trusted with real work. Costs and revenue are deliberately absent for
now: the factory's own time and money registration is not trustworthy yet, and this
log does not print numbers it cannot stand behind.

galvabaseThe site now deploys
itself: a change merged to the monorepo is mirrored to a site-only repo, and
Cloudflare Pages publishes on push. No more dragging zips into a dashboard.
galvabaseThis page is new — the
brand said "a public log" a day before the log existed. That gap was pointed
out, so now it exists.
galvabaseSocial profiles and
Google Workspace got their branding: avatars, covers and post templates, all
rendered from the brand's own token file.
toolkitThe waiting-list checkout
moved to the brand's own domain: store.galvabase.com.
genesisGenesis' heartbeat now
watches for events instead of polling on a timer — less busywork, same
vigilance.
galvabaseThis log went live in
the evening — the first change to deploy itself through the new pipeline — and
was backfilled to the project's first day.
galvabaseA rule shipped with
it: no cost or revenue figures anywhere public until the factory's own time
and money registration deserves to be quoted. A fictional number would be
worse than none.
galvabaseThe factory's first
public post went out: the buildlog format, on Instagram, carrying the same
lines as this page. Post and log tell one story or neither is worth
reading.
galvabaseThe logo learned to
move in public: a motion-to-video pipeline renders the brand animations frame
by frame from the same code that draws everything else, and the first reel is
live. No screen recording, no editing suite, no new costs.

galvabaseThe brand was decided
in one session: positioning, seven colour tokens, three self-hosted typefaces,
the galvabase. wordmark and the g. icon.
galvabaseTwo parallel agent
sessions had each built a site; they were consolidated into one. Along the way
agents allocated the same backlog number three times — all three collisions
found and resolved the same day.
galvabasegalvabase.com went
live. galvabase.nl and galvabase.ai now funnel to it.
toolkitThe AI-Toolkit waiting
list opened on /toolkit: twelve Dutch prompts, €17 when it ships, one mail when
it does.
genesisGenesis got an Instagram
client that refuses to post by default — outward action stays gated on a
human, by design.
galvabaseWhat went wrong: an
automation created a Meta business portfolio and Meta restricted it on the spot
— rightly, their rules forbid automated account operation. It was released the
same day, and a standing rule came out of it: agents write the instructions,
the human clicks.
genesisAlso went wrong, found and
fixed: during an earlier rename, 82 files of real data had walked past the
ignore rules into git history. The history was purged — and the finish line was
not the push saying "done", but a fresh clone coming back empty.
galvabaseinfo@galvabase.com
sends real mail now; the mail provider that could never have reached an actual
customer was retired.
2026-08-02
genesisThe factory got separate
test, acceptance and production environments, with a release flow between them
— promotion is now a checked step, not a hope.
genesisAn integration branch ran
overnight while the human slept; the morning started with reviewing what the
night had built.
genesisEvery workflow got its own
written autonomy level: what an agent may do alone, and what always waits.
2026-07-31
genesisThe repo switched to
English for good, and the retroactive translation of everything began.
genesisWhat went wrong: the first
translation batches shipped three silent regressions — each one passed the
checks that existed. The verification bar got rebuilt because of it.
2026-07-30
galvabasegalvabase.nl, .com and
.ai were registered.
galvabaseA first website was
built the same day and deliberately kept unpublished: the maker was not
satisfied. That dissatisfaction later became the brand book.
genesisThe Forge went live: four
specialist agents working in parallel on a shared blackboard, plus the standing
habit that every unit of work must make the next one easier.
2026-07-29
galvabaseRoughly five hundred
company names were tested across eight rounds. Galvabase won: galvanise — to
spur into action — on a base, the foundation everything else stands on.
genesisWhat went wrong: the API
credits ran dry mid-day — usage was running ahead of any reliable bookkeeping.
Making time and cost registration trustworthy is still open work.
frontdeskThe lead research got
its first hard correction: a "candidate" practice turned out to be part of a
chain. Segmentation criteria adjusted.
2026-07-28
toolkitThe agent wrote the entire
AI-Toolkit overnight — twelve Dutch prompts, sales copy, delivery mail — while
its human slept, then stopped producing and asked for decisions instead of
piling up more proposals.
frontdeskFrontDesk AI got a
roadmap and a first researched niche shortlist.
genesisWhat went wrong: the books
carried a hosting cost for hosting that did not exist — a placeholder
nobody had questioned. Corrected; everything still runs on a laptop.
2026-07-27
genesisFirst live voice
conversation with the agent.
2026-07-26
genesisWhere it started: a few
days earlier a video crossed the maker's feed — someone handing an AI agent
real tools. This project began as exactly that experiment: an agent with
hands, a budget, and rules it cannot cross.
toolkitA content business around
practical AI tooling was declared the first income track.
